Have you ever known that English is actually very difficult?
I have difficulties in English, especially in speaking English.
In the dormitory, it is best if we speak English everyday, so when we face the IBT (internet based test) TOEFL, we can speak fluently without much trouble. Silly me, I don’t care that suggestion but speaking Indonesian in cafeteria (that is how they call our dining room), bedroom even in the class everyday. Now I know that this actually has no good.
I’ll take my first IBT TOEFL test in 10 May 2008. The thing is, I have not prepared my self well. If I am asked to speak spontaneously, all grammar in my head is suddenly vanished. We used to call this symptoms of depression.
There are four capabilities that would be tested: reading, listening, speaking and writing. The test is very different with the PBT (paper based test) TOEFL. In PBT, you can achieve a high score even though you don’t have much capability in speaking English. Unlucky me, I am good in PBT, but not so sure with my speaking.
Do you have any advice to reach a high score in IBT TOEFL? Especially, within these ten days.
